Shipping & Delivery Policy​

At The Meat Box, we aim to deliver fresh, clean, and preservative-free products to your doorstep quickly and safely. This policy outlines how we process and deliver orders placed through our website or mobile app.

1. Delivery Areas
We currently deliver to select locations within Kakkanad, Kerala. You can check service availability by entering your pin code at checkout. We do not ship outside our delivery network at this time.

2. Delivery Time
We deliver in the following daily slots. You can choose the day and time slot for your delivery at checkout. To get your order in a specific slot, please place it before the cut-off time mentioned for that slot:

8:00 AM – 10:00 AM → Order by 7:30 AM

10:00 AM – 12:00 PM → Order by 9:30 AM

11:30 AM – 1:30 PM → Order by 11:00 AM
Break period – No deliveries during this time.

4:00 PM – 6:00 PM → Order by 3:30 PM
-
5:30 PM – 7:30 PM → Order by 5:00 PM
-
7:00 PM – 8:00 PM → Order by 6:30 PM
Express Delivery: Available for orders placed by 7:30 PM, delivered on priority in the next available slot.
3. Shipping Charges
We offer free delivery for all orders above ₹499 within a 5 km radius of Civil Station, Kakkanad.
For orders below ₹499 or deliveries outside this radius, an additional delivery fee will apply. The exact charge will be shown at checkout before payment is completed.

4. Packaging & Handling

All products are hygienically washed, packed, and sealed to maintain freshness until they reach your doorstep.

We use food-grade, leak-proof packaging to ensure safety during handling and transportation.

Each pack is labelled with product details, weight, and packing date for transparency.

Handling staff follow strict hygiene protocols, including wearing gloves, masks, and hairnets.

Packages are sealed immediately after packing to avoid contamination during transit

5. Order Tracking

Once your order is confirmed, you’ll receive updates via SMS/WhatsApp/email.

Live tracking may be available for certain orders via our app.

6. Customer Responsibilities

Please ensure someone is available at the delivery address to receive the order.

Once delivered, products should be refrigerated or consumed as per storage instructions.

If delivery is attempted but unsuccessful due to incorrect address or unavailability, re-delivery charges may apply.
